Contact Lenses: So many choices
Eyeglasses or Contact lenses? – Contacts!
Yearlies, Monthlies, Dailies…? – Dailies!
Once you have decided that contact lenses are the choice for you, because they’re so great, you can look into more options. Contact lenses make you look beautiful without making a fashion statement. It’s hard to imagine how these small and flexible pieces of plastic can correct vision like eyeglasses can, but prescription contacts provide perfect vision correction for people with refractive errors like nearsighted, farsightedness and astigmatism.
Contact lenses come in a variety of wearing schedules, each with their own advantages and disadvantages. The major drawbacks of daily disposable lenses – and almost any one-time-use product – are cost and, for the environmentally conscious, waste. However, when you factor in the cleaning solution and extra cases and back-up pairs, the cost/waste differences diminishes.
Daily Disposables are EASY…
The convenience is so worth it. Daily contacts are just so easy: open a fresh pair of dailies in the morning, wear them all day, and throw them out before you go to bed. No rinsing. No rubbing. And you don’t need contact lens storage containers or contact lens solution.
With daily disposable contact lenses you never have to worry about protein buildup. If you have an eye infection, you don’t have to worry that your contact lenses may re-infect your eyes next week. Plus, each pair is cheap enough that if a lens happens to get torn or dirty during the day, you can just open a new one.
